Supporting yourself this Autumn

Eat with the season:
Get the most out of your fruit and vegetables by eating mostly what is in season. This is when they are most nutritious and our bodies can benefit from being in sync with nature. Look for apples, red grapes, pears, leafy greens like Bok choy, baby spinach, & kale, pumpkin, fennel and beets.

Attune yourself with the new rhythm of the day:
Adjusting the clocks if you’re in NSW always takes a little getting used to each time. Resetting your circadian rhythm with the sun is amazing for our overall health and wellbeing, as well as eating with the sun ensures we keep inflammation low and quality of sleep high.

Prepare warm meals:
Cozy slow cooked dinners around the dining table, bringing back the Sunday roast dinner, and nourishing soups are beautiful for our digestion, and for the soul.

Don’t stop moving!
Just because its chilly out don’t let that stop you from getting outside in the sunshine and moving your body to help keep you healthy and immunity strong for winter.

Hydrate:
Super important for our overall health, we can’t pour from an empty cup (literally). Our energy and brain suffer when dehydrated so keep a full glass of water by the bed to drink upon waking, and sip herbal teas during day to keep you going like Alive + EnergiseDirty Dandi Chai. I Am Golden, or Peppermint, Lemon Myrtle + Lavender.
